Terms of Service
These terms of service govern all services provided by Aurum Luxury Sàrl. They apply from the moment a booking is confirmed.
1. Scope
These Terms of Service (hereinafter the "Terms") apply to any passenger transport or vehicle rental service provided by Aurum Luxury Sàrl (hereinafter "AURUM"), Rue de la Filature 42, 1227 Carouge (GE), Switzerland.
Any booking confirmed by AURUM, whether in writing (email, WhatsApp, SMS) or verbally (telephone), implies the Client's full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms.
2. Booking
Bookings may be made via the website aurumluxury.ch, by telephone, by email or by WhatsApp. Every request is confirmed in writing by AURUM within a maximum of 60 minutes during the day and 90 minutes at night.
For signature-category vehicles (Mercedes-Maybach) or large SUVs (GLS AMG Package), a minimum booking notice of 24 hours is recommended.
3. Pricing
Prices are quoted in Swiss francs (CHF), inclusive of Swiss VAT at 8.1%.
Each ride is the subject of a tailored quote, drawn up by our concierge according to the journey, the vehicle chosen, the duration and the services requested. The quote is communicated to the client and accepted by them before any service begins: the price is firm and known at the time of booking, with no meter and no hidden charges.
Return journeys, as well as hourly, daily or multi-day packages, are likewise the subject of a tailored quote.
4. Supplements and ancillary charges
- Tolls, parking, road tax stickers: charged on at cost against receipt
- Waiting: the first 30 minutes are complimentary; beyond that, the rate is stated in the quote
- Night trips (10 pm – 6 am): 15% surcharge
- Sundays / Swiss public holidays: 20% surcharge
- Child / baby seats: at no extra charge
5. Cancellation
The Client may cancel a booking free of charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled pick-up time. Thereafter:
- Cancellation between 12 and 4 hours before: 50% of the invoiced amount
- Cancellation less than 4 hours before: 100% of the invoiced amount
- No-show (the client failing to appear at the agreed time and place): 100% invoiced + waiting charges
For multi-day assignments and flagship vehicles, specific conditions are stated in the quote.
6. Payment
Accepted payment methods are: bank card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), SEPA or Swiss bank transfer, or house account for partner clients.
For one-off rides, payment is made after the ride via a secure link. No advance payment is required from new private clients.
For multi-day bookings or flagship vehicles, a deposit of 30% may be requested upon confirmation.
7. AURUM's obligations
AURUM undertakes to:
- provide a vehicle matching the category booked, clean, in perfect mechanical condition and presented at the agreed time
- make available a chauffeur holding a valid professional licence, trained in VIP protocol and appropriately dressed (dark suit)
- comply with the highway code and all applicable legislation
- treat all information communicated by the Client with the utmost confidentiality
- provide automatic flight tracking for airport transfers
8. The Client's obligations
The Client undertakes to:
- provide accurate information when booking (location, time, number of passengers, luggage, specific requests)
- respect the vehicle and the chauffeur (smoking and the consumption of narcotics are prohibited in the vehicles)
- be liable for any damage or soiling caused (a cleaning charge is stated in the quote)
- not exceed the maximum number of passengers permitted for the vehicle
9. Liability and insurance
AURUM holds Professional Public Liability insurance in compliance with Swiss legislation for the professional transport of persons. All vehicles are insured for third-party liability, fully comprehensive cover and passenger transport.
AURUM may not be held liable for the consequences of an event of force majeure (bad weather, demonstrations, road closures, accidents along the route) nor for personal belongings left behind in the vehicles.
10. Confidentiality
All AURUM chauffeurs are bound by a contractual confidentiality clause. At the Client's request (in particular for public figures, executives or institutional clientele), a formal non-disclosure agreement (NDA) may be signed.
11. Personal data
The processing of the Client's personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, in compliance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the European GDPR.
12. Complaints and mediation
Any complaint must be sent in writing to contact@aurumluxury.ch within 14 days of the service. AURUM undertakes to provide a detailed response within 7 working days.
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute relating to their performance shall be submitted to the competent courts of the Canton of Geneva, subject to the mandatory provisions applicable to consumers.
14. Amendment of the Terms
AURUM reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. The applicable version is the one in force at the time the booking is confirmed.
